We're backing Cancer Research

Having always taken charity seriously at Daniel Owen Ltd we decided a more official approach was now needed and a ‘Company Charity of the Year’, with a percentage of matched funds to really maximise our giving, was the way to go.

Deciding a company charity is never easy - there are so many fantastic fundraising initiatives out there and we all have one or two that are very close to our heart. Having asked the business as a whole, charity nominations were taken and a vote followed to choose the ultimate winner. We are all delighted to announce our charity for the next financial year is Cancer Research UK Ltd.

Cancer Research is an incredible charity that funds ground-breaking research into finding a cure for cancer. They were proud to announce this year that the survival rate for cancer is now at 50% - this is unbelievable progress for a charity that works to fight such a devastating disease.

Over the year there will be Company-wide fundraising activities. Together, by the end of the year, we are hoping to have raised a substantial amount that can go towards making a difference in the lives of cancer victims and their families.
