It’s clear we’re growing in the South West. After a Bristol office expansion earlier this year, and a rapidly growing team, we are now opening another hub to service our growing client base in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. A new location for Daniel Owen Ltd, Taunton was chosen as Somerset’s largest and fastest growing town, ideal for sourcing great candidates for the construction and engineering projects in which we are involved.

Strategically this is an important move for Daniel Owen Ltd, with the recent news of EDF’s Hinkley Point C development. The nuclear plant, the first to be built in the UK for 20 years, is expecting to see the creation of 25,000 jobs during the construction process – with 5,600 workers on site during peak construction. A large number of the jobs will be serviced from the surrounding areas, with Taunton only 20 miles from the Hinkley stations it is perfectly positioned.
