Today marks the start of National Apprenticeship Week, an annual jubilee that shines a spotlight on the remarkable contributions and significant career strides made by apprentices within myriad industries, including our own at Daniel Owen.

They are the golden tickets for those eager to earn while they learn, gaining industry-recognised credentials and invaluable professional experience.

Meet Brandon Chikota, who's turning passion into a profession with a Level 3 Digital Marketing program.

I found an apprenticeship a great way to continue my professional development; studying a broad range of subjects such as cyber security, project management, and networking has given me the theoretical knowledge to back up the practical experience I’ve gained in the workplace. The cohort I was a part of came from a number of industries, which also helped give me a different perspective on the use of technology in the workplace."

Firstly, I completed my qualification in recruitment, coupled with my experience, which makes us experts in our field, ensuring that we offer our clients the best service we can and equips us with a full understanding of the laws and regulations of our industry. As my career progressed, I also completed a management qualification, enabling me to grow a successful team while progressing as a consultant.
