Every working day, two construction workers take their own life. With the construction sector already under its own pressures, the COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, brought further strains to worker Mental Health.
This year the Lighthouse Club released their latest campaign, Help Inside the Hard Hat. Raising awareness of poor mental health within the industry and the challenges on and off-site for construction workers.
In tandem with our annual pledge to the Lighthouse Club Charity, we like to make sure that those within our industry are aware of the help available for those in need.
The Lighthouse Club Charity funds the construction industry helpline, and even directing someone in need to it can make a big difference:

We’re proud to join other businesses during these extraordinary times in supporting the construction sector and this latest campaign is well-timed to highlight the Mental Health resources that are available.
If you would like to learn more about this appeal or if you are someone that requires its support, you can find more information on their website:

We have also partnered with a dedicated trainer to provide Mental Health First Aid courses for those looking to improve their work environments.
