Daniel Owen in Bristol is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month, a fantastic achievement in light of the fact it opened at the onset of one of the worst recessions this country has seen. With a combined 24 years construction experience between them James Legg, newly promoted to Associate Director, and Sarah Woolley, Team Manager, have worked on some of the most interesting projects Bristol and its surroundings has seen.
On reflecting over the numerous projects he has provided construction workers to, James has had a particular interest in projects like the off-site construction of hundreds of modular build hotel rooms, refurbishment of a Grade II listed bridge, as well as some exciting super prime bespoke residential developments in the countryside surrounding the area. Bristol has seen some truly unique and exciting development.
Speaking of unique developments, Sarah has spent the last few months providing candidates to the interesting £60 million pound development, due for completion this month, on the Cadbury site in Keynsham which will provide assisted living apartments and a care home as well as office space, retail outlets and leisure facilities.
CEO Philip Andrews says, “the team in Bristol started just before one of the longest and deepest recessions our country has ever experienced. Whilst that might seem a long way behind us, it has given me great admiration for the team’s steadfastness, grit and determination not to mention the outstanding service delivery that enabled them to survive and go on to thrive in the region. We are very proud of their achievements and following a recent promotion, pleased to have James in a new role, as a director of the business.
