About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on a social housing maintenance contract. The role involves carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works in occupied and void residential properties.
You'll be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales, and in line with health and safety regulations.
Duties Include
Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, priming)
Painting walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork
Wallpaper hanging (if required)
Touch-ups and snagging
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
Liaising professionally with tenants and supervisors
Requirements
Proven experience in painting and decorating (preferably within social housing)
Own tools and transport
Valid CSCS card (desired)
Asbestos Awareness and Working at Heights certificates (advantageous)
