Location: Salford
Pay Rate: £12.73 - £14.27 per hour
Contract: Temporary - 4 months initially (with a view to extend)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Work Type: Office-based

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing and property services organisation based in Salford. They are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to support their responsive repairs and maintenance team on a temporary basis.

The Role

This is a busy, office-based position where you will be responsible for scheduling maintenance and repair works, liaising with tenants and contractors, and ensuring jobs are planned efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and planning maintenance and repair appointments

  • Contacting tenants to arrange and confirm access

  • Liaising with contractors to allocate work and manage diaries

  • Handling customer service enquiries via telephone

  • Updating systems with accurate job and scheduling information

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous customer service experience is essential

  • Planning or scheduling experience is desirable

  • Confident communicator with strong telephone skills

  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Previous experience within housing, property or maintenance environments is advantageous
