Job Advert: Demolition Labourer - Central Birmingham (15-Storey Office Block)

Position: Demolition Labourer
Location: Central Birmingham
Duration: 4-5 months (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: 25th November

We are looking for experienced Demolition Labourers to join our team working on a large-scale strip-out project in the heart of Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 15-storey office block demolition, with a focus on strip-out work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the safe and efficient demolition and strip-out of the office building.
• Removing fixtures, fittings, and non-structural elements.
• General labouring duties, including material handling and site clearance.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Operating tools and machinery under supervision when required.

Requirements:

• CCDO Card is essential (Demolition Labourer / Operative).
• Must provide own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - hard hat, high-vis vest, safety boots, gloves, etc.
• Previous experience in demolition or construction labouring.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work at height and in varying weather conditions.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, typically 10 hours per day. 8am-6pm
